To continue doing so, we have compiled our August update to the OHCQ survey tracker, providing you with the latest information on where surveyors have been and where they’re likely headed next.

State of the Survey Environment

• The most recent dataset includes surveys completed through April 2024.
• It is unclear how many and which facilities have been surveyed from 5/1/2024 to the present.
• OHCQ continues to complete about four annual surveys every 30 days.
• There are around 78 out of 222 SNFs in Maryland that haven’t had their recertification survey since 2019.
• In April, OHCQ completed an initial Annual Survey for a newly named (change in ownership likely) facility called Westminister Healthcare Center
  
  

The spreadsheet below shows the projected queue for annual surveys that we developed last month. The facilities highlighted in green were surveyed in March and April of 2024.

Our methodology for predicting the survey order continues to be accurate.
